Hanuman

Hanuman is a Hindu deity, who was an ardent devotee of Rama according to the Hindu legends.

Hanuman is worshiped to get rid or win over demons demi-gods, evil spirits and other powerful negative energies.

Sri Rama

The lord of Vedas,Who removes all types of adversity and agony of Jiva (living beings); Who bestows all types of favour, honour and wealth; By looking at whom, the world feel very pleased.

 

Lakshmana

Lakshmana is personified by Lord Rama as a man with unswerving loyalty, love and commitment to his elder brother through times of joy and adversity

 

Sitadevi

Goddess Sitadevi is known as mother of gods, mortals, and all living creatures. Devotees equate her with intelligence, growth, and increase in prosperity. She is considered as a synonym of fertility and purity.

 

Srinivasa

Lord Venkateswara, popularly known as Balaji, is the presiding deity of the Tirumala Hills, is one of the manifestations of Lord Vishnu, who incarnated in a previous Kali-yuga at the request of sage Narada. The sage requested Lord Vishnu to settle in Tirumala, to shower his eternal grace on mankind, who were very much depressed and unable to follow the rigorous yoga practices of self realization. Tirumala, the seat of Lord Venkateswara is surrounded by seven hills, thus He is known as Lord of the seven hills.

 

Sridevi

Padmavati/Sridevi a Hindu devi. Believed to be a form of Lakshmi, the Hindu devi of wealth and good fortune, Sridevi is the consort of Sri Venkateshwara. The name Padmavati is Sanskrit for “she who emerged from lotus”.

 

Boomadevi

Boomadevi (Earth goddess) is a Vishnupatni at Vaikundham. She is “Ma” the gentle and approachable mother. Mother of the universe, she assumes cosmic proportions, destroying evil and addressing herself to the creation. In some forms she is benign and gentle, while in other forms she is dynamic and ferocious, but in all forms she is helpful to her devotees.

 

Mahalakshmi

Hindu Goddess of wealth, prosperity (both material and spiritual), fortune, and the embodiment of beauty. She is wife of Vishnu. Also known as Mahalakshmi, she is said to bring good luck and is believed to protect her devotees from all kinds of misery and money-related sorrows.

 

Andal

Andal is the only female Alvar of the 12 Alvar saints of South India, She is credited with the great Tamil works of Thirupavai and NachiarTirumozhi that are still recited by devotees during the Winter festival season of Margazhi. Andal is known for her unwavering devotion to the Lord Vishnu. The Srivilliputhoor Temple is dedicated to her and marks her birthplace.

 

Vishnu Durga

Vishnu Durga, also known as Narayani, is one among the numerous forms of Goddess Durga. Vishnu-Durga is regarded as the sister of Lord Krishna, born immediately before him. She is also known as Yoga Maya and is the child that flew away from the hand of Kamsa.VishnuDurga is worshipped to bring in peace and prosperity.

 

Saraswati

Saraswati is considered to be a daughter of Durga along with her brothers Ganesha and Karthikeya. Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts and science. She is a part of the trinity of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati.

 

Shiva

Lord Shiva is the Lord of mercy and compassion. He protects devotees from evil forces such as lust, greed, and anger. He grants boons, bestows grace and awakens wisdom in His devotees.

 

Nandi

Nandi is the name for the bull which serves as the mount (Sanskrit: Vahana) of the god Shiva and as the gate keeper of Shiva and Parvati. In Hindu mythology, he is the chief guru of eighteen masters (18 siddhas) including Patanjaliand Thirumular. Temples venerating Shiva display stone images of a seated Nandi, generally facing the main shrine. There are also a number of temples dedicated solely to Nandi.

 

Vinayagar

Vinayagar is worshipped on many religious and secular occasions; especially at the beginning of ventures such as buying a vehicle or starting a business.There can hardly be a home [in India] which does not house an idol of VinayagarVinayagar is worshipped by almost all castes and in all parts of the country. Devotees believe that if Ganesha is propitiated, he grants success, prosperity and protection against adversity.

 

Murugan

Valli

Valli is a Goddess and the divine consort of the prominent Hindu God Murugan, according to Hindu mythology. She represents the “Ichha Shakti” (power of aspirations).

 

Devasena

Devasena is a Hindu goddess and the divine consort of Hindu war god Kartikeya. She is the daughter of Indra, lord of Swarga or heaven. Worshipping her will bring in peace, prosperity and healthy children.

 

Iyyappan

Lord Ayyappa (Dharma Shastha) is the union of the spiritual powers of Lord Vishnu (the Lord of the universe) and Lord Shiva (the supreme power).Ayyappa is Lord of Kaliyuga.One and only one God who shows his benign presence every year on the day of Makarasankranthi in the form of a “Jyothi” and blesses his devotees.

 

Navagraha

The study of the nine planets, called Navagraha, is important as it is believed that the Navagrahas have a major influence in our lives. Nagar

Naga raja means king of hills. The naga raja in this verse is about govardhanagiri. Naga raja dharuda means the incarnation who lifted Govardhanagiri (dharuda) none other than Lord Krishna has done to protect the people of Nanda Gookulam from the cyclone effects.

 

Bali Peedam

It is a place to make offerings. The food which is offered here, is supposed to keep the Gods happy who are guarding 8 directions. Mostly rice and other cooked food are offered.
